January favorites !

Right there in between my 2019 resolutions, I decided I wanted to constantly share with you guys the things I love. Of course, books are on top, but I do watch tons of movies, binge TV Shows, try new outfits, new gadgets, eat a lot of food and listen to great music. So, I’ve decided to combine all these amazing things in one monthly blog post – you did guess that from the title, right ? hehe

So without further adieu, let’s get started. January was an overall good month and a great start to 2019. Winter was in full blast, read awesome books, it started raining by the end, I started #BulletJournaling and I took a Studio Lighting 101 course. Awesome month !

This year, i continue on my decision to not stress myself into reading a certain amount of books. I read what I feel like reading and enjoy! I read a total of 4 books – one of them was a re-read and I enjoyed all of them really.

» City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty ★★★★★ » Kingdom of Copper by S.A. Chakraborty ★★★★★ » Reign of the Fallen by Sarah Glenn Marsh ★★★★ » Song of the Dead by Sarah Glenn Marsh ★★

But one out of them stood out and shined brighter than the others. And of course that is:

Kingdom of Copper by S.A. Chakarborty

I received an e-ARC from the awesome people over at Harper Voyger and I don’t need to tell you about the loud-fangirling that happened. It’s been on my most anticipated releases list and definitely hit my 2019 favorites and on the top of it as well.

The minute you start reading this book, you know it’s going to be amazing and bad-ass. It was so easy to fall right back into the story and continue on the adventure with Nahri , Alizayd Al-Qhataniand Dara. It was much more alive than City of Brass , vibrating with the richness of the world and exploding with the intensity of the plot. This series keeps getting better and better and I can’t get enough of it for the life of me.

Checkout my full review and pick this series up asap; if you still haven’t.

I’m off the deep end, watch as I dive in  I’ll never meet the ground

If you do checkout my playlist, you’ll find that I spent 90% of the time listening to the soundtracks of A Star Is Born !! I watched the movie and I loved every single song, every tune and rhythm, every single lyrics.

Favorites of the album

Shallow Tell me somethin’, girl  Are you happy in this modern world?  Or do you need more?  Is there somethin’ else you’re searchin’ for?

Always Remember Us This Way When the sun goes down  And the band won’t play  I’ll always remember us this way

I’ll Never Love Again Don’t wanna feel another touch  Don’t wanna start another fire  Don’t wanna know another kiss  No other name falling off my lips

This month I received a lot of amazing gifts, but the ones I want to specially highlight this month is the amazing, vintage backgrounds I got from @rihan_backgrounds. These guys are amazing, talented and very creative. Both backgrounds I received are unique and fit really well with my photography style, and I already used one of them. If you want to pop your Instagram feed and add a rustic touch to your photos, definitely check their stuff out.

Does it count if I put Game of Thrones on this list? I’ve binged watched the entire show starting December, wrapped it up by the end of January and I honestly cannot wait for April 14th, I NEED SEASON 8 !! Already some photos from it landed on the official Instagram page and I’m psyched !

And that’s wrap! January was an amazing month and I’m excited to see what lands on my February favorites ! Now, what about you guys, any favorites in 2019 so far?
